Monday, 18/03/2024:

Our mobility started with a welcome program at the school. The host school presented all participants a nice gift bag and name tags. Then, participants from Salamanca University recycling activities with students at Kourouta Beach. This activity was quite enjoyable and educational. These activities helped participants become aware of protecting the environment and also had a fun time. Additionally, encouraging students to fly kites and break ice added a fun and motivating approach to physical activity. Such activities contributed to the development of important skills like environmental awareness and teamwork.

Tuesday, 19/03/2024:

The students started the day with a workshop on reusing candles. The main goal of this workshop was to emphasize recycling and sustainability, increasing environmental awareness. Later in the day, they visited Eliz Ancient City and the archaeology museum there. This trip provided participants with a great opportunity to explore historical and cultural heritage and develop an interest in history and archaeology. They also had a guided tour of Ancient Olympia, allowing them to get a closer look at sports history and life in ancient times. After returning to school, they participated in two different activities with participants from Salamanca University. Firstly, they engaged in an activity using soap and essential oils, gaining hand skills and learning about aromatherapy and natural products. The second activity was a photo-digital exhibition, providing students with a great platform to showcase their creativity and improve their digital skills. All these activities allowed students to experience a versatile learning journey.

Wednesday, 20/03/2024

Patras University was visited. This visit provided students with the opportunity to learn about studies in botany and ecology. Presentations by instructors helped participants develop a deeper understanding of plant science, ecology, and environmental conservation. Upon returning to Amaliada, students engaged in creative activities related to T-shirt printing and building bird nests at school. The T-shirt printing activity allowed students to showcase their artistic and hand skills, while building bird nests helped raise awareness about nature and the environment. These types of activities enabled students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical applications for learning. Additionally, they acquired various skills and fostered awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability.

Thursday, 21/03/24

The guided walk in Foloi Forest allowed participants to immerse themselves in nature and explore their surroundings. This activity increased awareness about the importance of nature and forests while also providing an encouraging environment for physical activity. The archery activity that followed provided students with a new experience while helping to improve their hand-eye coordination. The forest activity with participants from Salamanca University promoted interaction among students from different cultures and enhanced their teamwork skills. Activities in the forest allowed students to learn while having fun. The Kahoot competition held upon returning to Amaliada allowed students to reinforce their newly acquired knowledge in a fun way. It can be said that this interactive competition not only boosted students' motivation but also made the learning process more enjoyable.

Friday, 22/04/24

The visit to Kastro Castle and Katakola Port provided students with the opportunity to explore the historical and cultural heritage of the region. These historical sites strengthened students' connections to the past while providing them with knowledge about local culture and history. The guided tour of the Ancient Technology Museum allowed students to take a closer look at technological developments and inventions from ancient times.Preparing a digital brochure on forest conservation at school helped increase students' awareness about environmental issues, providing them with information on the conservation and sustainable use of forests.Lastly, the certificate ceremony organized by the Mayor of Amaliada appreciated the participation and achievements of the participants in the activities.
